adaptive collar padding compresses proportionally to movement intensity
The NNormal Kjerag (pronounced 'shuh-rag') is a mountain running shoe made in collaboration with Kilian Jornet where every element is engineered for technical trail performance, with a focus on speed, a natural ride and precision.
The Matryx Micro upper is a made from a high-tenacity woven fabric that is durable and hugs the foot with precision, giving it a sock-like feel. It is thin, water resistant, breathable, and abrasion-resistant. It's stripped down and agile thanks to no bulky padding or overlays.
The midsole is comprised of NNormal's EExpure foam, responsive cushioning that has a low-profile compound that's firmer than most max-cushion trail shoes, but is designed for stability and precision over unpredictable terrains. The outsole is made with VIBRAM? Megagrip rubber combined with Litebase technology to reduce weight. The 6.5mm lugs and low profile design are grippy and best suited for rocky and dirt terrains. This isn't a mud shoe but performs well on steep, rocky ground.
*Matryx Micro goes through a process where the dying uses between 50-95% less water than other methods.
